Paranova Pack A/S in Ballerup, outside Copenhagen, is responsible for logistics and packaging operations. Every week more than 80,000 parallel imported products are repacked and - for Alternova - an increasing number of generic products are repacked in new boxes with leaflets.

Paranova parallel imports pharmaceuticals from virtually every country in the EU/EES. Since drug regulatory authorities require information in local language, repackaging with local language on the packaging and the patient information leaflet is done for every sales country. It is important for this operation to be carried out in a professional manner in order to avoid mix up of or damage to the products.

Generics are produced all over the world by contract manufacturers in accordance with our requirements and often with final packaging and release at Paranova Pack A/S.

Paranova Pack A/S is a company driven by lean thinking and that uses modern equipment. We have very flexible production methods using our own machines for production of leaflets, lines for printing and labelling on blisters, round items and boxes, and a new cartoning machine. 

Paranova Pack A/S works in compliance with GMP, and attaches great importance to quality at every step in our processes. We have engaged dedicated graphics designers, who work very closely together with the sales countries and the quality department.
